# Sonar Large Online

Hi,

Why is there an issue with the Large Sonar model, every time I try to use is I get this error message.

The sonar-large model was recently [deprecated by Perplexity](https://docs.perplexity.ai/changelog/changelog#august-2025). We’ve marked this model as deprecated in MindStudio, so your agents should automatically fall back to a different Perplexity model (`sonar`). Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
