Advanced Google Search Block with Filters (Content Type, Time, and Source)

Hi MindStudio team,

I’d love to request a new block or enhancement for the existing Google Search block that would allow for advanced search filtering directly inside workflows. Specifically, it would be incredibly useful to have options to:

  • Select content type: Articles, Videos, Images, etc.

  • Filter by publication time: Any time, Past hour, Past 24 hours, Past week, Past month, etc.

  • Filter by source/platform: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.

This would make it much easier to retrieve highly relevant and fresh content based on user intent, and would avoid needing to manually filter results post-fetch.

Let me know if this is on the roadmap or if there’s a workaround in the meantime!

Thanks for the suggestion! The Search Google and Search Google Images blocks have both been updated to allow you to specify: Country, Language, Date Restriction (1 hr, 24 hrs, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year).

Those are the only “hard-coded” filters that are available to us. To further filter by source/platform, content type, etc., you must use Google Search operators
