To submit a feature request, please answer the following questions:

  1. What problem does this feature request solve?
    Currently, workflows and automations in MindStudios do not have a direct way to send updates, notifications, or content to Discord. Users who manage communities or projects in Discord must manually copy information or use workarounds. This creates extra steps and slows down communication. Also, I’d like an AI Agent to be able to analysis some of the discord channels and chats. A Discord integration would solve this by enabling seamless, automated updates to be pushed into Discord channels.
  2. What is the use case for this feature?
    1. Automatically post workflow results (e.g., summaries, announcements, reports) into a Discord channel.
    2. Send alerts or status updates from workflows to Discord for teams or communities.
    3. Use Discord as a notification hub where members can stay updated without checking external tools.
    4. Enable creators to build bots or assistants that interact with their communities through MindStudios automation.
  3. Please describe the functionality of this feature request.
    1. Users should be able to connect their Discord account or server to MindStudios.
    2. Provide actions such as: “Send Message to Channel”, “Send Direct Message”, “Update Channel Topic”, etc.
    3. Option to format messages with Discord’s markdown (bold, italic, code blocks).
    4. Support embedding links, images, or attachments generated from workflows.
    5. Allow workflows to be triggered by Discord events (e.g., new message, reaction, user joins).
    6. Analyze chats and have AI agents help with that in terms of metrics etc.
  4. Is there anything else we should know?
    1. Discord is one of the most widely used platforms for community engagement, especially for creators, developers, and businesses. Adding native integration would expand MindStudios’ utility for a large audience and make it more competitive with other automation platforms. A well-designed Discord integration could unlock dozens of creative use cases — from community engagement to project management.
