Display block update (chat history behaviour)

Hi,

I noticed a change in the display block. Now it has “Include” as default in the chat history behaviour. May I ask if the original default was “Hide from chat history” before this update?

Because before I always needed to show the AI the saved display variable for it to know what was said before…

Does this mean I need to revamp my workflow?

Does choosing “Include” now means as long as I choose the “Inherited model”, it will be able to read the past “Include” display block messages automatically?

Hi @Kuane,

Previously, only the content from the block right before the Chat block would be passed in as context. Now, if you have other blocks that display content to the user, like Display Content or Generate Text, and their Chat History Behavior is set to Included, their content will also be passed into the Chat block for context.
