How do I embed an Agent on a website?

I no longer see this in your documentation or the UI, but there used to be an ability on the Pro (and above) subscription to embed an agent on a website. Where is this? I upgraded to Pro for this exact reason.

To make this clearer, I’m simply trying to embed the agent card behind a paywall possibly. I realize that if I want to build a wrapper I’ll need to use the API

Hi Mike, I really need that option too, however, they have removed it and you will need to use your own methods (the have a video on how to use Bubble to API call your agent). I am going to look into FlutterFlow but really, that is just adding lots of additional cost to us to be able to deploy and it adds another link in the chain that can break. @sean Reeeeallly wish you bring it back, super pretty please!

This is a must

I think they “mark-up” the API so embedding would bypass that since I’m hearing there is no mark up in the store and running in the workspace. I’ll have to go find that video I guess but I’m not that interested in yet another tool I have to cobble together to get a simple job done.

I think I remember it was said that an issue with maintaining security/protecting data was the reason. Maybe they will reconsider finding a solution.

So many other platforms do this that I have a really hard time believing that it’s an issue. The issue that I have is that now I have to jump through hoops just to put a bunch of agents behind a paywall on a website. I love it I could just plug an embed in there and it would display the card so that I don’t also have to go capture that or reproduce that image because that’s all I’m trying to do.

I think the simpler work around might be to use the invite link that I showed in my other post today and slap an image on top of it and be done with it. But of course I demonstrated that that length didn’t work so…

To whom it may concern, I would pay more if you made my life simpler.

I’ve talked with chatGPT and I’m thinking of using some ghetto methods seen in this chat:

I have thought of that too but one big issue, its not professional looking. I think we all agree: we are willing to pay extra to MindStudio to have the embed option. Still holding out they will change their “Mind”.

It’s “mind”-boggling

Hi Mike, I created a video a while back on how to migrate from a MindStudio UI to a full-stack website UI that calls MS on the backend. I use Bolt.new to create the UI but I e also done so with Replit.

See if this helps. MindStudio UI migration

The MS staff recently created a neat video that shows how to embed an Agent on a website:

Its a feature available only to paid MS plans, but it allows you to share to people without them needing to make an account on MS.

That was great.

Hi all. i dont get it. First this function was removed which put a lot of us into crisis mode to find solutions to continue hosting our agents. and now 2 monhs later its bieng introduced again as a new limited feature.

I don’t get it either. It feels like whiplash, and I’m seriously wondering how prudent it is to build a business model around Mindstudio. It’s a great platform, but the sudden changes with little time to pivot can be detrimental… especially for those of us who aren’t coders.

Hi @squartier,

We’ve been focused on building a more secure and scalable platform. The new setup uses signed URLs for secure access, while guest access is still available for prototyping and testing.

It’s essentially a new product with a stronger foundation.

It might be ideal for a lot of people who want to work with this that aren’t sure if they’ve got an audience yet to be able to prototype and test this without having to pay for $100 a month plan.

Just sayin

Hi, I’m an early user of mindstudio, was supposedly grandfathered in the $49/month tier which included embedding, the company kicked us out telling us that they had removed the feature just to find a month later after a lot of grief because my business was built on top of it, that you are bringing back the feature for $100/month?

Solutions like bubble don’t work for us because is far from giving us the whole functionality like having menus, with the plugin you can only import a single chat.

Really sad if true, is this how it works now? No loyalty with the users that helped you grow?
