Losing Workflow Structure

Sometimes by accident I click the Auto-Arrange button instead of the pan tool and it scrambles my workflow structure. There is no undo button/action so I am forced to go into version history and thus loose all my latest changes.

Yeah that button is a bit of an explosive IED that I try to avoid too. I clicked on it by accident too and it fubar’d my agent’s blocks as well.

UX wise its way too close to the Pan/Select tool buttons. Its too easy to accidently click it.

Definitely needs an undo or atleast a preview how it would reorganize everything before it actually reorganizes blocks.

I’ll be real with you guys - everytime I see a workflow like this I get really nervous. Does this agent need to be so complex? Are there ways to simplify it? Should this agent be broken down into smaller agents?

It is really groovy. DM me and I will send you the link to give it a spin. Had to be this way as far as I could reason out. May have been a way to consolidate one of the sections but I needed to give the teacher options for levels of control and speed, along with multiple input types (docs, url and picture). Yet, I am very rookie so maybe you take a look and let me know of how it can be more efficient. But yes, all the steps does drive up the cost quite a bit.

Todd’s workflow doesn’t look too bad imo, it uses jump blocks and seems fairly straight-forward.

My own workflows are quite small and often crammed into the visible view, but even then the auto-arrange will spaghettify my blocks in a way I didn’t want.

Would be easy to fix the UX by just moving the auto arrange button far away, may into the top right corner and have a ghost-preview of what would happen before confirming to click it.
