I build my agent for the first time and it runs in draft state but it doesn’t run when I publish. My suspicion is that the variable that I have filled is not picking it up not sure how its working correct in draft state.

Could you share screenshots of your Automations canvas and record a Loom of a sample run? Please include the Debugger in the recording so we can take a closer look at what might be going on.
It would be helpful if you include both the draft and the published version.
