Question about Connections

In the Integrations sections, I cannot get my “ADD CONNECTION” button to show up. See below, this is what I see in the Docs:

But when I login and go to Integrations, I not see this feature.

Does this have something to do with my account? I have the Bootcamp Plan but it will be ending soon.

Please advise.

Thanks for the post!

We’ve made a small update to the UI so all integrations are now shown on the page. Just pick the service you’d like to connect with to authenticate it:
https://app.mindstudio.ai/workspace/integrations

Thanks for responding. I was under the impression you could add any integration, not just the services listed on the page.
Wasn’t that how it used to work? Please advise.

Hi @regina.nickles,

You’re right, you can connect your Agents with many different services. The Integrations tab only shows the ones needed for built in blocks to work. For example, you’ll need to authenticate Google Drive to use a Fetch Google Doc block.

You can still connect to other services through Make, Zapier, Custom Functions, the HTTP Request block, and more directly within your Agent.

Ok, well that’s good to know, but see below - this screen shot is from the MindStudio docs:

It doesn’t work like this anymore, right? I do not see the ADD CONNECTION button.

Thanks for the screenshot!

Just to clarify, the screenshot shows the previous UI version. Back then, clicking the “Add Connection” button opened a list of built-in integrations. Now, those integrations are shown right away when you open the Integrations tab:

If you’d like to connect your Agent to a third-party service that isn’t listed under Integrations, here’s how you can do it:

  1. Open the Agent where you’d like to set up the integration
  2. Add a block such as Custom Function, HTTP Request, Make.com, Zapier, or whichever best fits your use case

The Integrations tab only displays built-in options, but these blocks let you connect to almost any other service.

And if you’d like us to create a native connector for the service, we’d appreciate it if you could fill out this form:

Ah, ok! Same functionality, slightly different UI.
Thanks so much for explaining it, and I will keep this form bookmarked if I want to suggest a native connector.
