Run-Away Email Start Workflow

I have a workflow that starts via an email.

I tested it and sent an email to trigger it. And now it’s run 6 times on repeat…

THis is the video I was making for somebody to show them how they could use it - but as you can see during the video: The workflow is triggered 6 times.

I am not sure how to stop it from repeating now - and it is costing money/tokens (??).

I just went into the settings and changed the “Maximum Number of Operation Invocations” from infinite to 10 to see if that would stop it???

UPDATE: I Think it finally stopped on the 7th or 8th run - when I went into the debugger and manually hit “stop.” But I think it would have continued without that intervention.

One more update: I was wrong - it is still actually running - it’s just slowed. It appears the time between runs is increasing, which is good: When I first ran it - the workflow repeated right away. Now it appears it is running every hour or so. I bet by morning it will widen further to be every two hours, etc. That is good in terms of keeping the runaway cost down. But it is obviously still a bad bug and means I can’t promote it to outside users yet.

No worries on my end. Just an update in case it’s helpful to triage. I am still getting the emails. I just got one about 30 minutes ago. But they do feel more spaced out (which is interesting and maybe helpful info?)
