Packaged Workflows

Video Demo: New Packaged Workflows in MindStudio | Loom

Today we’re excited to launch Packaged Workflows in MindStudio, letting you create your own custom blocks and extend what MindStudio AI Agents can do. This continues our mission of making MindStudio the most extensible and capable tool for building and running AI Agents. You could already extend the functionality of MindStudio with custom JavaScript and Python, but Packaged Workflows takes that to the next level.

If you’re familiar with NPM or other package managers, MindStudio’s new package system will feel similar. If you don’t know what any of that means, all you need to know is you have some amazing new blocks to use, with more on the way!

To launch, we’ve added some powerful new blocks available to all MindStudio Pro users starting today, including:

  • Deep Research: Simply provide a research prompt and get back a giant bundle of sources, citations, and quote snippets. You can then take this research bundle and generate reports, analyze data, and anything else you can think of. This block is built from the same core as MindStudio’s deep research agent, which generates research reports that rival Google, OpenAI, and Perplexity.

  • Generate Podcast: Provide a prompt and duration and get back an AI-generated podcast, including cover art and metadata.

  • Track Website Changes: Use this block inside an agent that runs on a schedule to scrape a website and check if its content has changed. Optionally provide a custom prompt if there are specific changes you are looking for.

  • Analyze CSV: Provide a CSV file and a question and this block will write and execute custom Python code to answer your question.

Powerful AI agent-driven functionality that used to take giant workflows or custom functions is now available in a single block!

Let us know if there’s a mini workflow that you constantly find yourself recreating over and over. We’ll make it into a Packaged Workflow.

Thanks,
