Agent for Chrome extension - LinkedIn Profile Pre-Qualificiation

Hi everyone,

So I just created a new — actually my very first — agent using MindStudio Architect. I pre-created a prompt with all the necessary information, and everything worked really fine on that side.

The idea behind this agent is to pre-qualify a LinkedIn profile to see if it matches my ideal customer requirements, and then also draft one or two connection messages. It’s a very personal Chrome extension that works by accessing the website while I’m logged into LinkedIn.

However, I’m running into a problem:

Whenever it processes all the information, I get a generic message saying it has no data.

I’ve double-checked — the application actually has all the access data and the required permissions. I also tried running it both via the Chrome extension and directly from the assistant by giving it the LinkedIn profile link. But the results are always the same.

Here’s an example of the message I keep getting from the agent:

Message from the Agent:
LinkedIn Profile Analysis Report
:clipboard: Profile Summary
No Profile Available

Unable to generate profile summary due to missing LinkedIn profile data

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Qualification Analysis
No LinkedIn profile content was provided for analysis
Unable to evaluate professional qualifications
Requires complete LinkedIn profile details to perform qualification assessment

:white_check_mark: Qualification Result
Status: Not Qualified

Insufficient information to conduct professional assessment

:police_car_light: Action Required
To proceed with the analysis, please provide:

Complete LinkedIn profile details
Specific professional information
Relevant career context
Would you like to upload a LinkedIn profile for comprehensive evaluation?

Hi @Ih8Sn0W,

Thanks for the post, and sorry to hear about that issue.

Could you record a sample Run and share screenshots of the Automations? Please make sure to include the Debugger in the recording so we can take a closer look at what might be causing the issue.

Feel free to use the link below to record:

Hi Alex,
I think I’m coming closer to the solution. So there are three errors about missing variables. I have no idea how to fix that or which AI to ask to fix it for me. (like at cursor.com)
Seems that the architect was not “perfect”
I attached links to these screenshots, debug and video.
Thanks for your quick help.

Hi @Ih8Sn0W,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

We’ll look into why this wasn’t added automatically, but you can easily fix the agent yourself in the meantime:

  1. Click on the Start block
  2. Set the Run Mode to On-Demand
  3. Switch it back to Browser Extension
  4. Publish the Agent to save the changes

Great… no AI needed… just Alex Intelligence
Thanks, works just great!

Hi Alex,

One more thing…
As I mentioned, I used the Architect to generate the agent. If I want to change something in the workflow now, can I use the Architect again, or does it have to be done manually by editing/adding blocks?
What I want to achieve:
My agent currently generates an outreach message for me. I’d like it to also create a short LinkedIn note (max 300 characters) for connecting with someone — something more personal.
Can I do this using the Architect or any other AI built intoMind
Studio, or would I have to build it manually?

Thanks a lot!

Hi @Ih8Sn0W,

Once the Architect builds an agent for you, you can either make changes to it manually or generate a new one.

Since you already have an agent that generates an outreach message, you can either add another block to generate a LinkedIn note or create a copy of the agent and tweak the prompts.

Hope this helps!
