Clarification with new pricing system

Hi Mindstudio,

I am looking for some clarification on the new pricing system:

  1. Do members count as collaborators? I currently cannot add any members (I just want them to be able to use the AI agents, not edit).

  2. Do I need a separate subscription for each workspace?

  3. With the removal of the embed and the limitation on the number of users in each workspace, what is a straightforward way for me to distribute my AI agents for use while still being able to pay for the new hefty $100 subscription for each workspace? Sharing a public link will not work because I would not be able to control who uses my AI agent in that case.

Thanks for your help! It would be nice to hear back today as these questions have been asked by others for a few days on this forum now.

$100/mo plan to get API access as well as the Signed URLs which don’t require users to have a MindStudio account. Essentially, the latter means that we can charge for access (as long as there is a means to run them, hopefully without the API) and you’d be on the hook for the cost - so put some limits on it.

In either case, the $100/mo seems reasonable if your audience is more than a few people.

Since we can’t introduce our own API keys for LLMs, this gives MS an opportunity to increase revenue as usage scales. But, we haven’t heard what that mark up is going to be. In the Signed URL scenario, I also don’t know how long they will hold to the no mark-up policy.

I can live with whatever, as long as I have to time to plan for it. If it doesn’t make sense, I’m sure we’ll all let them know

Just saw the new video about the embed returning.

This solves most of my problems, which is great.

One question remains: do I need a Business plan for each workspace if my AI agents are in different workspaces?

Also, would love some guidance on how to embed for Wordpress website.

Edit: Managed to do it on WordPress but would like to see the actual documentations to see if I did it wrong.

$100/mo… welp, for my poor self thats unreachable to me. I’ll have to rely on ghetto methods to provide paywalled access to any agents I’d make in the future.

My community edition account is also gradually running out of the initial 5 dollars, so seems it’ll be the end of the road for me.

@Kuane we’re moving fast here - thank you for your patience

  1. Members count as collaborators
  2. Each workspace needs a separate subscription
  3. Business plan is out now - it might change shortly

Watch your email next week - we’ll have something for our OG users.

Thanks,

Dear Jerry,

Thanks. Given the latest change, can I email support to transfer my funds to the workspace where I have the subscription?

Also, I would like to ask if you could lift or at least increase the number of embeds in the Business subscription. $100 is quite pricey as it is now double the old Pro plan price where there was no limit on the number of embeds. Thanks!

I agree with this. If you could increase the number of embeds to 25-30 in the business plan. That would be great.
