This is not cool

This is a chatbot I installed on a clients website, its embarrassing.
The general public does not want to see this nor do my clients.
Can we fix this?

Hi @Todd,

Thanks for the post, and sorry to hear you’re not a fan of the loading animation.

What would you prefer to see instead?

I think it is good for most all agents, just not in the case of a customer service agent. I will just figure out how to make the custom AI and do the API call, but for sure, if you guys just went ahead a built UI for us whereby we can create the workflow and link right into the Chatbot UI, we can sell tons of customer service chatbots for company websites right now. It’s crazy how hot the demand is presently. I understand this is not the core use of MS agents as they are much more powerful than these simple RAG customer service bots, but if you guys could streamline the process, you could capture the money we are having to pay to other platforms for they UI.

What kinds of chatbots are you building?

I am building simple RAG customer service bots for small businesses websites.

I think this animation is better than the old endless loading. It helps the user know something is loading rather than thinking it froze.

You can rename your blocks or change the code to rename those information that is showing (i.e. “Collect Visitor Information” → something cool and futuristic).

I agree it looks better for most case uses, just not a customer service chat bot. I bailed and I am going with Zapier bots to get it done.

Cannot stress this part enough ^^^

The UI/UX for just general customer-facing chatbots is not a strength of MS currently, and simple tools like Chatbase are taking all the market share for those use cases.

Can you add the code that states “Collecting User Data”
I’ll try that and see what the reaction is.
