Hi - my understanding from the recent Zoom meeting was that Dimitri said that if we modify an agent, it then becomes our agent to name, brand and distribute as we choose. Is that correct? If so, can I create a workflow for a client and populate it with only agents that I built (modified)? Thanks
Hey @Mike0711!
Thanks for contributing by posting your first question
To answer it, that is correct! You can copy any Agent from the Agent Store and modify this copy to your liking and the user case.
Please note that the agent will still be hosted by MindStudio including our branding (the domain name, Chrome extension icon, etc.)
Does that help?
I think so.
To clarify- 1) I setup a workspace for a client. 2) The client or I add a chrome extension in the workspace. 3) I only add the agents that I have created for them to the chrome extension. 4) The agents that I add to that chrome extension can be named/branded as I choose.
Any usage fees will be billed to me.
The usage fees for running the agent will be visible to the client
Is this sequence correct?
Hi Mike,
Youâre mostly right, just to clarify:
- You create a workspace for your client
- They create a MindStudio account, join the workspace you set up, install the Chrome Extension, and select that workspace in the extension
- Your clients will be able to access both Store Agents and any Custom Agents you have added to the workspace
- All usage will be billed to the payment method linked to the workspace
Iâd recommend creating a new workspace to try out the experience from your customerâs perspective.
A couple of questions.
I created a workspace and sent my associate an invitation. When they get the invitation, will it instruct them to join MS? I will only want to give them access to specific agents that I have duplicated and not others in the store. The instructions said that I could just transfer the ones that I want to the new workspace. When I opened the ones in my workspace that I wanted to transfer, I couldnât find the âtransferâ link.
If I donât want them to install the Chrome extension, can I still have the links in their workspace and set them to manually run? Can I enter their information and join MS for them? I could use my cc since thatâs where all the billings will go anyway.
Thanks
Hi @Mike0711, if you want your client to access only specific agents, you can keep the agent in your workspace and simply invite them as a guest.
To invite a guest:
- Open your published AI Agent
- Click on the three dots icon
- Select âInvite Usersâ
- Invite them via email or by sharing a link
When they follow the invitation link, theyâll be prompted to create a MindStudio account if they donât already have one. Otherwise, the Agent preview will display.
All usage will be deducted from the Usage Credits in the workspace where the agent is located.
Hey Alex, I have reasons for wanting each client to have their own workspace with me administering it. Should I go to the workspace that I created, put the agents that I want them to access, then do an invite for each of them? I need to track their usage of each app, and it was suggested that I needed to setup separate workspaces for each client
Hi @Mike0711, youâre right. In that case, you can do the following:
- Create separate workspaces for your clients
- Create copies of your agents
- Transfer the copies to each of your clientâs workspaces
- Invite the clients to their workspaces
