where on the website does it say that when using a ‘free plan’..the minute you add funds, you’re then forced to upgrade to paid plan just to update/publish an agent?
I just paid $5 to add some more funds to continue testing and had to update an agent I had previously created…the minute I clicked on ‘publish’, I was asked to now upgrade to a paid plan!!!
What’s up w/that classic ‘bait and switch’ move?
Hi @JustDatDude,
Apologies for any confusion. Let’s go over each of the points you mentioned:
Please note that adding Usage Credits isn’t possible on the Free Plan
Publishing Agents is also not available on the Free Plan. This feature becomes available starting with the Pro Plan, as outlined on our Pricing Page and in your workspace under Billing → Plan
Hope this clears things up. Let me know if you have any questions.

sorry for the late response, but…
I signed up for a free account…never paid anything upfront…had a $5/month budget/allowance for ‘usage’ and was able to create multiple agents…any time I made an update to the prompt logic, I could easily click on “Publish”…
However, once that initial $5 budget got down to about $3 dollars, was when I added more funds…then, I went to create a new agent and when I clicked on ‘publish’, as I had done dozen or so times before, I was then met w/the ‘upgrade account’ screen!
So, what you’re telling me about free accounts and not being able to "publish’ contradicts what I was able to do in my account…
Hi @JustDatDude,
Thanks for the additional details
Could you clarify whether you have multiple accounts or if you’re part of multiple workspaces?
From what you’re describing, it sounds like one of your workspaces is on the Legacy Community Plan. That older pricing plan allowed publishing and adding Usage Credits, but it’s no longer available to new users.
If you had a workspace on the Community Plan and never topped up your Usage Credits before May 2025, it would have been automatically switched to the Free Plan.
Hope this clears things up. Let me know if you have any questions.
